Dimitrinka Raycheva was born in Dobrich. She finished “Lyubomir Pipkov” National Music School and graduated from “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov” National Music Academy in Sofia (1998).

She specialized in opera singing under the guidance of opera singer Lella Cuberli and conductor Daniele Moles. She won the prize inaugurated by Prof. Pavel Gerdzhikov for the best performance of a Bulgarian song, and the special prize inaugurated by Valeri Popova at the First National Competition – “Young Musical Talents” in Sofia (1994).

She received a Certificate of Honor at “A Coast of Hope” International Youth Festival in Dobrich (1996).

She received the special award at the Music Competition in Contursi Terme in Italy (2008).

         

At the 14th “Boris Hristov” Competition for Young Opera Singers she won the third prize, a bronze medal and a Diploma for her performance in the role of Amelia in Un ballo in maschera by Giuseppe Verdi (2009).

She took part in the four-opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen by Richard Wagner, a production of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, directed by Acad. Plamen Kartalov, in the role of Flosshilde in Das Rheingold, Waltraute in Die Walkure, Second Norn and Flosshilde in Gotterdammerung (2010 – 2013).

Her repertoire includes the parts of Aida in Aida by Verdi, Leonora in Il trovatore, Elisabeth in Don Carlos and Tosca in Tosca by Puccini. In 2011 she became a soloist with the Varna State Opera.
